Content Editor

LTG is a revolutionary test prep mobile app designed to answer all of the needs of a standardized test prospective student. The ideal candidate for this position will help shape developing editorial processes to create engaging experiences, balancing client needs with business requirements. The role requires a top-notch line editor, rewrite artist and multitasker, who is energetic, detail-oriented and knowledgeable about the test prep market and standardized tests.

This is a position for a creative, deadline-oriented go-getter willing to do the detailed work necessary to create great content experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Write, proofread and copyedit test-like questions and lessons to ensure adherence to brand standards for accuracy and style.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of test prep products and solutions, target audiences and competitors. Understand and learn features, benefits, value proposition and competitive position of test prep products to be better able to develop relevant and engaging content for multiple platforms.
  • Communicate clearly with freelancers and external content providers about project requirements and expectations.
  • Manage content on internal systems, including tracking items in the development process and student-reported errata
  • Support editorial plans and requirements for social media, email marketing, mobile distribution, partner integration and other content-dependent efforts.
  • Formatting: HTML; LaTeX and/or MathML
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 90th %ile score on the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, or other graduate admissions exam; or, 97th %ile score on the SAT or ACT.
  • Proven editing and writing skills and a track record of success.
  • Familiarity with digital web technologies, Web and content management technologies.
  • A strong interest and/or experience in the test prep market.
  • Exceptional organizational and communications skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of executive and staff management.

UI/UX Designer

Boston, MA

We are looking for a young, passionate UI/UX designer to help create mobile apps that will revolutionize how students study for standardized tests. You need to be passionate about mobile design and constantly set the bar high for yourself and others. We’re looking for someone who’s always trying out the newest apps and knows exactly what makes them great or not. iOS holds no secrets for you and neither does Android, and you inspire front-end developers to create kick-ass experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all mobile design (iOS & Android) and web design
  • Constantly inspire and challenge the development team to improve the UI/UX
  • Coordinate with the Product & Development team to find the shortest route to implementation
Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator

Lead iOS/ Android Developer
